Welcome to Schedule Application Schedule Application is an easy-to-use scheduling application that allows service industry providers and their clients to schedule online 24 hours a day, 7 days week, 365 days of the year.* The application provides a simple, clean user interface in the tradition of a Google search page. We are a scheduling service provider only. Our goal is to make scheduling appointments online with service providers as simple and easy as possible for the clients of service providers.

Service providers - Service providers, e.g. doctors, dentists, hair stylists, etc., register here to create a public schedule. Once registered, you may configure the schedule created for you to reflect your business hours, days off, time off, etc. to restrict the times your clients are allowed to schedule appointments. The cost of an online schedule is just $7.95 (USD) per month.*
Clients - Clients of service providers register here to create a online user profile account. Once registered, you may schedule an appointment with any service provider who uses our service. If your service provider does not currently allow online scheduling, contact your service provider and invite your provider to create an online schedule with us. Alternately, you may contact us and we will contact your service provider for you.
Software developers - Developers of software for service providers who wish to add an online scheduling capability to their software application may contact us directly for information regarding APIs to integrate with existing software applications.

- A: Schedule Application is a web application that provides online scheduling for you and your clients in the cloud. Note that it is a web application. Other than the fact that it executes in your browser it behaves more like a traditional PC application. You do not have to traverse multiple web pages to perform each task. All scheduling tasks are performed from a single web page.

- A: Schedule Application is generally available 24/7, i.e. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days of the year, with the exception of scheduled maintenance. Our service provider has a service level guarantee of 99.95% availability.
- Q: What are the requirements for using Schedule Application?
- A: Schedule Application requires only a web browser and an Internet connection. No special software is required. However, not all schedule features are available in all browsers. It is suggested that you use one of recommended browsers, particularly if you are a schedule Administrator.
- Q: What is the cost of using Schedule Application?
- A: A single online schedule will initially cost $7.95 (USD) per month. The monthly fee is required for server bandwidth and storage. Discounts for multiple location and multiple user schedules will be announced at a later date.
- Q: What are the limits of using Schedule Application?
- A: An online schedule is created and maintained for a monthly fee. There are no limits on the number of schedule accesses or the number of appointments that may be made for a given schedule
- Q: May Schedule Application be used with my current software?
- A: Absolutely! You may choose to use Schedule Application as your sole scheduling system and use your current software for your remaining business tasks or Schedule Application may be easily integrated with your current software. Have your current software vendor contact us to request online schedule integration information or contact us directly with your software vendor name and application name and we will contact your software vendor for you.
Getting Started
- Q: How do I create an online schedule?
- A: You need to register to create an online schedule for your business or yourself. You must specify public for the schedule type. Non-public, i.e. private, schedules will be supported in the future.
- Q: How soon will my schedule be available?
- A: Once you have registered your online schedule will be available immediately. You need only to configure your schedule, e.g. establish your business hours, and create a link from your current web site.
- Q: How do I set my default business hours?
- A: Once you have registered you will be routed to your online schedule page and prompted to enter your default, i.e. normal, business hours. Select the days of the week and hours your business is open. As a schedule Administrator you you may change (or set additional) business hours at any time by selecting Set business hours from the schedule context menu.

- Q: What is an Administrator?
- A: A schedule Administrator controls the configuration of an online schedule. When you register you become the schedule Owner and default Administrator. Only one Administrator is currently allowed. Multiple schedule administrators will be supported in the future.
- Q: How do I set my business hours?
- A: You may change existing or set additional business hours at any time by selecting by selecting Set calendar >> Set business hours from the schedule context menu. If business hours are changed the schedule calendar will be updated and redisplayed.

- Q: How do I access the schedule context menu?
- A: You may access the schedule context menu at any time by moving your mouse cursor to the
calendar header area and pressing the right-click button on your mouse.
Note: Opera users must access the context menu using the menu button. Opera does not support right-click functions. - Q: How do I access a schedule day context menu?
- A: You may access a schedule day context menu at any time except when the calendar day is
being refreshed by moving your mouse cursor to the calendar day number
and pressing the right-click button on your mouse.
Note: Opera users are not able to access schedule day context menus. Opera does not support right-click functions. - Q: Why do calendar days display a working icon?
- A: A working icon is displayed whenever schedule information is being refreshed for a calendar day.
Scheduling
- Q: How do I use an online schedule?
- A: You need to register to create a user profile. You must specify none for the schedule type unless you wish to create a public schedule for yourself. If you have already registered, you may login using the username and password you provided when you registered.
- Q: How do I access an online schedule?
- A: To access any schedule directly, enter
https://www.jdamon.net/calendar/<domain name>in your browser address bar where<domain name>is the web site or domain name of the desired schedule, e.g.example.com. Normally, the owner of a schedule will provide a link on his or her web site to access the site schedule.
Note: For commercial domain names, i.e. ".com", ".com" may be omitted from the<domain name>e.g. "example". - Q: How do I login?
- A: You must login to schedule an appointment. You may login by clicking the User icon
displayed for a schedule to display the User Login dialog. Enter your
Username and Password. Click the Login button. Alternately, you may
login here.
Note: If you are a schedule Administrator, you may login using your Adminstrator username and password. - Q: How do I schedule an appointment?
- A: Scheduling an appointment is as easy as point and click. Move your mouse cursor to any
available time in the schedule and press the left-click button on your mouse. The
application will display a Set Appointment dialog. Enter the Appointment Time and
Reason. Click the Add button to schedule the appointment.
Note: Schedule times that are not available are displayed in light red. - Q: How is a schedule calendar refreshed?
- A: A schedule calendar will periodically check the server to determine if the schedule for one or
more calendar days has changed and needs to be refreshed. During the time a calendar day is being
refreshed a working icon will be displayed for the day and all tasks that may be performed
for the day are disabled.
Note: Optionally, you may refresh the schedule information at any time by clicking your browser Refresh button.
Technical
- Q: What web browsers are supported?
- A: Schedule Application supports all A-Grade browsers unless otherwise noted, including, but not limited to: Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Opera, Google Chrome and Apple Safari. You may note that this application will function in an acceptable manner in non-supported browsers as well as lesser versions of supported browsers. This application strives to provide the broadest level of browser support. However, please note that no technical support will be provided for non-A-Grade browsers.
- Q: What web browsers are recommended?
- A: Schedule Application attempts to support all available web browsers. However, complete support for all web browsers is unrealistic. Not all schedule features can be implemented in all browsers. The recommended web browsers, to enable the most functionality, are: Internet Explorer 8+, Mozilla Firefox 3+ and Google Chrome 6+.
- Q: What infrastructure powers Schedule Application?
- Schedule Application is powered by Amazon Web Services (AWS), the same infrastructure that powers amazon.com, and provides a service level guarantee of 99.95% availability.
- Q: When is application maintenance performed?
- A: The period of time between 12 am to 6 am Easter Standard Time (EST) each Sunday morning is reserved for application maintenance including version upgrades. Normally, application maintenance will require a shorter downtime if any maintenance is to be performed at all. During scheduled maintenance times users will receive an information message indicating that the all schedules are read-only.
- Q: How may a vendor application integrate with Schedule Application?
- A: Schedule Application provides APIs for interfacing with the online schedules. If your existing application contains a scheduling component and you wish to add an online scheduling option for your users, all you need to do is invoke our APIs to update the online schedule and then update your application schedule as you normally do. The online schedule should be updated first to prevent scheduling conflicts. Contact us to request API development information.
Security
- Q: How is Schedule Application secured?
- A: All application URLs that transfer personal data between your browser and the application, e.g.
login,
registration,
calendar etc.,
are secured using
Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure
(HTTPS). HTTPS creates a secure communications channel and encrypts the communications between your
computer and the Internet server.
Note: This page is not secured because it displays information only about the application. - Q: How do I determine that my connection with Schedule Application is secured?
- A: The URL in your browser address bar will begin with
https. Different browsers will display additional information and/or icons to indicate the URL is secure. Internet Explorer will display a lock icon next to the address bar. Mozilla Firefox will display a lock icon in the status bar. Newer versions of Firefox will display the secured web site name in blue to the left of the URL in the address bar. Opera may display a lock icon on the right-hand side of the address bar. Google Chrome will display a lock icon in green to the left of the URL in the address bar. Apple Safari will display a small lock icon on the right-hand side of the address bar. - Q: How is my personal data secured?
- A: Rest easy. All communications with the application involving personal data are secured and encrypted. Additionally, all personal data that may be used to identify you including, but not limited to, name, addresses, telephone numbers, etc., is encrypted when stored on our servers. Each data file as well as each data record within our data files are encrypted differently to further ensure security.
- Q: Who may see my personal data?
- A: Your personal data may be seen only by schedule Administrators with whom you have scheduled appointments and you.
- Q: Will my personal data be made available to third parties?
- A: No. Period.
